We pickup still in the church, Father Lucian thanks us all. He goes looking for holy scrolls to help arm us and coughs up some scrolls and holy water. Along with teaching Rowan how to make holy water.
We ask Father Lucian if he knows anything about Andre the man who escaped the Reformation Center. He eventually spills that he has Andre Duveskov in his basement.
Elthra uses prestiditation to relax Andre into telling us about the Reformation Center and how he managed to escape there by digging a tunnel past the wall into the forest.
Andre Duveskov’s tragic story started by wooing his wife away from a jealous man named Turol Yonvitch who accused Andre Duveskov’s wife of demon worship and got her thrown in the Reformation Center. When she finally left there after months he said she wasn’t mentally there and eventually her body gave up the ghost. Soon after he was thrown in there for not being happy enough.
Father Lucian also tells us some things about St. Markovia and a holy relic and book about The Devil that she had when she died.
Isaac greets us and then quickly identifies Terry as his brother, who’s real name is Emrich! Isaac also has an Amber necklace just like Elizabeth and Elthra, does this mean he’s also connected to Strahd???
We passed through town center and heard the Baron giving a speech on how the vampire spawn was both; all the villagers fault for not being happy enough at the festivals, but also on Henrik van der Voort for helping and housing the vampire spawn. But no fault on Isaac or the city guard for not stopping them?
We went and talked with Lady Fiona about out upcoming vist with the Baron. We asked for advice and anything to look for in his mansion. She said he’s got skeletons in his closet and to look for information relating to Viktor and Stella.
We ended session with us splitting the party cuz that always ends well. Terry and Rowan will enter Reformation Center via the front door since Isaac invited us over for some gear. With Sekhmet and Elthra going through Andre’s tunnel from the woods into the Reformation Center’s basement.
